Worked on SaaS platform enabling Property Managers to record, manage and remediate their Fire and Building Safety compliance all in one place.
Responsibilities included conducting discovery and user research, gathering business requirements, and translating these insights into user-friendly interfaces. Creating detailed tickets and collaborating closely with the development team to ensure high standards and roadmap alignment.
Successfully advanced the project from inception to development, with the initial phase being piloted with customers.

  • Evaluating Third-Party Products: Assessing proposed changes in third-party products from usability and visual design perspectives and effectively conveying the value proposition to senior stakeholders.
  • Logistics Research Project: Mapping existing manual processes, gathering user requirements, and delivering insights from user interviews, user personas, process flows, and user stories for Key Design Decisions (KDD).
  • Data Visualisation Enhancement: Enhancing data visualisation reports by refining presentation techniques, improving data accessibility, and ensuring effective communication of insights to stakeholders.

Worked across two teams

Accounts Team: Was responsible for Settings & Account section of the FT.com, as well as Subscription, Transition (Subscription change) and Cancellation Journeys.
Impact: The new trial cancellation journey was launched in parallel to the existing journey, and was successful in retaining over twice as many users. There was also a 65% decrease in negative cancellation feedback responses and the subsequent volume of cancellation requests coming into Customer Care fell by nearly 80%.

Internal tools Team (Spark):
Focused on working on the Newsroom Tools, and created a flexible framework for experienced editors. This allowed them to produce the required visual depth of stories on a timescale that matches the news cycle, customise layout according to story needs, and publish competition-beating stories that contribute to an uptick in quality reads.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting and analysing user research and turning user insight into effective UX solutions
  • Creating and testing prototypes and end-to-end user flows using Sketch and Figma

Lifebit provides an intelligent compute platform for genomic data analysis, which is cloud platform-agnostic and allows users to reduce analysis times and costs by up to 80%.

Key responsibilities involved design for their Saas platform, which saves time for bioinformaticians, researchers and biologists every day. Was also responsible for designing the company website, multiple campaign pages, creation and maintenance of the Design System, print materials and running all relevant design operations.

During employment with Lifebit, worked on an Innovate UK grant for a project of research, identifying business opportunities and user needs, as well as early interface ideas testing in microbiome and gut health.

  • Facilitating workshops with potential clients and business stakeholders to identify business challenges, goals and define priorities
  • Responsible for design discovery and validation (conducting usability tests with users). Adjusting work based on results
  • Owning the entire design process throughout the product life cycle, from discovering value, validating propositions all the way through to delivering products and services
